About the Company 

Our client is an Am Law 50 firm with a global footprint and a strong focus on enterprise technology modernization. The firm is investing heavily in its Enterprise Content Management Systems and broader IT transformation initiatives. This role sits within a newly formed Enterprise Content Management Systems team and plays a critical role in delivering complex, high-visibility technology projects. 

The Role 

The Senior IT Project Manager will lead large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives from planning through execution and delivery. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with both business and IT objectives. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring strong stakeholder management, structure, and execution discipline in a professional services environment. 

What You’ll Be Responsible For 

Project Leadership & Delivery 

• Lead multiple IT projects in alignment with the firm’s SDLC framework 
• Ensure all project documentation, reviews, and deliverables are completed accurately 
• Oversee a portfolio of enterprise initiatives across multiple technology teams 

Planning, Reporting & Governance 

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans including sprints, milestones, budgets, and timelines 
• Prepare executive-level status reports, risk assessments, and budget summaries 
• Track dependencies, manage risks, and maintain delivery momentum 

Stakeholder & Resource Management 

• Act as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders
• Manage intake and prioritization of new project requests 
• Balance resources, timelines, and competing priorities across initiatives 

Execution & Communication 

• Facilitate structured project meetings with clear agendas and outcomes
• Drive accountability, next steps, and issue resolution 
• Maintain clear, transparent communication at all stages of the project lifecycle What 

We’re Looking For 

Required Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred - 10+ years of project management experience 
• At least 7 years of IT project management with senior stakeholder engagement 
• Proven success leading large-scale, complex technology projects in a law firm or professional services environment REQUIRED 

Technical & Professional Skills 

• Advanced proficiency with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence 
• Strong understanding of SDLC and enterprise project governance 
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills 
• Strong presentation and executive-facing communication abilities 
• Collaborative, customer-focused approach to project leadership 

Compensation & Benefits 

• Base salary: $155,000–$200,000 USD 
• Full benefits package 
• Bonus eligibility 

Additional Details

• Onsite role, 3–5 days per week 
• Location flexibility across NYC, Boston, Washington DC, or Atlanta
